Job description

The Machinist is responsible for producing machined parts by operating various machines while maintaining quality and safety standards.

What you will do

Assist in machine setup and conversion of work orders to ensure smooth production flow. Operate CNC Auto & Manual lathe machines, including handling part loading and unloading, while meeting daily production targets. Perform machine adjustments when required to maintain accuracy and consistency. Inspect finished parts to ensure quality compliance in line with SPC (Statistical Process Control) standards. Conduct daily and monthly preventive maintenance on assigned machines to ensure optimal performance.

Support other production areas when necessary to achieve overall operational efficiency Do 5S on Working area.

What we are looking for

SPM, High School Diploma, SKM certificates in a related field, or equivalent qualification. Fresh graduates are encouraged to apply. Experience in operating Rolling and Grinding machines will be an added advantage. Able to do inspection using measuring equipment (caliper, micrometer, profile projector, contracer, gauge etc) Able to operate manual cutting and fabrication tools such as bench saw, sanding machine, and other related equipment.

Physically fit and able to handle heavy lifting when required. Basic mathematics and computer skills. Ability to follow instructions and new assignments given by superiors Ability to follow instructions and new assignments given by superiors. Demonstrated ability and willingness to use AI tools to improve productivity, decision-making, work quality, and to reduce costs. The successful candidate must be able to identify appropriate AI use cases and critically evaluate AI-generated outputs.

Strong troubleshooting skills with a proactive approach. Willingness to learn and explore new skills. Independent, with good communication and teamwork abilities. Ability to read blueprints and basic knowledge of GD&T.
