Position Summary

This position will have a broad range of technical, day-to-day finance/accounting, and project-based responsibilities. All duties will be performed in a fast-paced, multi-tasking and flexible environment.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

Process transactional accounts. Prepare end journal entries. Prepare balance sheet account reconciliations. Aid local business team with required documentation. Execute and/or participate in the day-to-day accounting processes, such as cash, accounts payable, and accounts receivable. Compilate and distribute daily, weekly, monthly reports as assigned. Reconcile and/or assist with Accounts Receivable, Accounts Payable and related processes, and corporate intercompany balances.

Maintain and reconcile the GR/IR (goods-receipt/invoice-receipt) account balances. Maintain customer and vendor database. Assist with month end closing and preparation of monthly financial statements. Ensure proper execution of internal financial controls and procedures. Use equipment and materials properly. Other duties as assigned. Demonstrated ability and willingness to use AI tools to improve productivity, decision-making, work quality, and to reduce costs.

The successful candidate must be able to identify appropriate AI use cases and critically evaluate AI-generated outputs.

Education

Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance or related discipline required or a combination of education and experience Experience: Demonstrated ability and willingness to use AI tools to improve productivity, decision-making, work quality, and to reduce costs. Minimum 4-5 of accounting role experience Ability to handle confidential information in a discreet, professional manner. Eye for detail, accuracy is imperative. Knowledge of GAAP and other accounting standards.

Able to meet deadlines. Excellent oral and written communication skills. Excellent organizational and analytical skills. Ability to be an effective team member and display initiative. Proficient with MS Word, Excel or similar internal business management programs. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills. Ability to multitask and meet critical business deadlines. Familiar with aerospace industry a plus. Observes all safety and security procedures.

Uses equipment and materials properly. Reports potentially unsafe conditions.
