Minimum qualifications

Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Computer Science, Business, a related field, or equivalent practical experience. 20 years of professional experience in business development, partnerships, supply chain management, or technical ecosystem leadership. Experience managing executive-level relationships and negotiating technical or hardware agreements with global technology suppliers.

Preferred qualifications

Master's degree or advanced degree in Engineering, Computer Science, Business, or a related technical field. 20 years of professional experience in technology, including leading large-scale global partnerships or supplier alliances. Experience in the silicon, hardware infrastructure, cloud computing, or semiconductor industry. Demonstrated ability to navigate and work effectively in highly complex, matrixed, and ambiguous environments.

Superb communication and cross-functional influencing skills, with a track record of driving cross-product area initiatives. About the job As the VP of Strategic Alliances for Google Cloud, you will establish and lead deep, multi-dimensional partnerships and alliances with our most critical global hardware, system, and silicon suppliers. In an industry built on long-lasting, meaningful relationships, you will be the key executive representing Google Cloud to drive strategic alignment, secure vital supply chains, and unlock co-innovation opportunities.

In this role, you will navigate a matrixed global ecosystem, aligning our strategic technical needs with industry leaders across silicon, system square sets, and advanced manufacturing. You will translate executive-level relationship building into actionable industry insights, additional supply, and first-of-their-kind strategic partnerships. Working closely with engineering, product, and business leaders, you will drive cross-functional alignment and ensure Google Cloud’s long-term competitive advantage in the AI-native future.
