Minimum qualifications

Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, other relevant field, or equivalent practical experience. 15 years of experience in distributed computing infrastructure.

Preferred qualifications

Master's degree or PhD in Computer Science/Engineering. 10 years of experience building and leading teams. About the job Google Global Fleet (GGF) is responsible for forecasting, planning, and allocating infrastructure capacity for customers across all of Google. As the leader of Google Global Fleet, Tier -1 you will be responsible for developing capacity planning, forecasting, and allocations systems, with a focus on demand planning and capture for Cloud & our product area-facing retail capacity products.

You will work directly with business leaders to provide solutions for short and long term capacity needs, while using AI techniques to rapidly build tools and analytics to increase our capacity delivery velocity for Google’s customers.
