As a Staff Software Engineer on the Primes team, you will design the next generation of performance and system-health tooling that powers Google’s flagship mobile and web applications. Primes is the centralized diagnostics solution for nearly all Google consumer apps. You will build telemetry systems to keep our most critical applications including Search, YouTube, Maps, and Android fast, stable, and seamless for billions of users.

Leveraging your expertise in high-throughput data processing and performance optimization, your contributions will directly enhance reliability on a global scale. Additionally, you will mentor a talented engineering team, drive technical vision, and help Google consistently deliver highly performant applications. Individual pay is determined by factors including job-related skills, experience, and relevant education or training.
