As a software engineer, you will work on a specific project critical to Google’s needs with opportunities to switch teams and projects as you and our fast-paced business grow and evolve. We need our engineers to be versatile, display leadership qualities and be enthusiastic to take on new problems across the full-stack as we continue to push technology forward. The team is the central decision engine for Content ID, YouTube’s world-leading rights management platform.

The team builds and operates the complex, real-time pipeline that orchestrates a suite of upstream signals from classic audio/visual fingerprinting to facial, speech and generative biometrics (e.g., LikenessID), as well as complex fictional and universe tracking (e.g., CharacterID). The team computes the authoritative, final claiming verdicts at a massive scale.
