As a software engineer, you will work on a specific project critical to Google’s needs with opportunities to switch teams and projects as you and our fast-paced business grow and evolve. We need our engineers to be versatile, display leadership qualities and be enthusiastic to take on new problems across the full-stack as we continue to push technology forward. In YouTube Shopping Creator, we leverage advanced infrastructure to empower creators in producing high-quality, shopping-enabled content.

A key business priority is expanding the creator and shopping content and driving active engagement with shopping features. Our mission is to enable creators to launch and scale their Shopping journey through seamless activation, intelligent matchmaking, and data-motivated inspiration. As a team, we drive growth by owning the Activation and Inspiration CUJs. We focus on expanding eligibility and improving retention through a staged framework.

Beyond onboarding, we create and leverage Creator Profiles and Artificial Intelligence/Machine Learning (AI/ML) predictive modeling to provide actionable insights, helping creators discover the best merchants, lucrative offers, and relevant products for their audience.At YouTube, we believe that everyone deserves to have a voice, and that the world is a better place when we listen, share, and build community through our stories.
