Site Operations Lead, Cable Landing Station

info_outline About the job In this role, you will serve as the primary on-site owner’s representative for Google's Cable Landing Stations. You will be directly responsible for local service assurance and safeguarding Google's infrastructure investments by overseeing service provider performance and enforcing Google's engineering and operational standards and will ensure optimal network availability and reliability. You will be a strong operational leader who ensures full compliance with standard operating procedures.

You will serve as a key on-the-ground point-of-contact for local stakeholder engagement, customs, security engagement, community relations, and direct coordination with regional governmental bodies and authorities into google as needed. You will act as the dedicated on-site executive sponsor for regulatory compliance, environmental governance, EHS, and statutory site audits, ensuring adherence to local laws and rapid resolution of official findings.
