GBO Finance Lead, Central Europe

info_outline About the job In this role, you will be a visionary leader responsible for charting the financial future of the region. You will help our sales leaders identify new growth vectors, build multi-year scenarios, and make decisions that shape the future of Google's footprint across these markets. You will be focused on the detail while finding creative ways to address big picture issues across markets. Leveraging the capabilities of the central Global Business Organization (GBO) Finance team and acting as a pioneer and sponsor for the use of AI in Finance, you will provide executive level management with insightful business recommendations, planning and reporting support.

You will report to the Executive Director of GBO Finance for EMEA, and partner closely with the Central Europe (CE) leadership team. You will act as a key board member of the regional business leadership team. You will need to work cross-functionally and leverage the support of central teams for analysis and insight to help guide the CE business over the medium and long-term in relation to market opportunities and potential threats.

Ultimately, you will be able to set a compelling business goal, influence execution by working with executive leaders, and inspire a high-performing team to navigate the medium and long-term in relation to market opportunities and potential risks. The name Google came from "googol," a mathematical term for the number 1 followed by 100 zeros. And nobody at Google loves big numbers like the Finance team when providing in depth analysis on all manner of strategic decisions across Google products.

Individual pay is determined by factors including job-related skills, experience, and relevant education or training.
