Product Manager II, YouTube Trust and Safety

Job description

Minimum qualifications

Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience. 5 years of experience in product management or related technical role. 2 years of experience taking technical products from conception to launch (e.g., ideation to execution, end-to-end, 0 to 1, etc).

Preferred qualifications

1 year of experience in technical leadership. Experience developing ML/AI-driven products for classification or abuse protection, including defining metrics and measuring model and system performance. Experience in Trust and Safety, Child or Youth Safety, or abuse-prevention products, ideally including age assurance or identity verification. Experience turning legal, regulatory, or policy requirements into product requirements, ideally in youth-safety areas.

Experience leading sensitive, high-visibility launches with Policy, Legal, Privacy, and Operations partners, and communicating complex trade-offs clearly to executive leadership. In this role, you will work at the intersection of technology and policy. You will collaborate closely with engineering, design, legal, and operations teams to launch Machine Learning and AI-powered classification technologies. By breaking down regulatory and safety requirements into product strategies, you will guide safety features from conception to execution, making an impact on millions of minors.
