Minimum qualifications

Bachelor’s degree or equivalent practical experience. 2 years of experience in program management. 2 years of experience designing, constructing, or managing infrastructure projects. Experience creating infrastructure designs (e.g., telecom, electrical, mechanical), drawing sets for builds, and remodels of data center networking spaces.

Preferred qualifications

Experience in Network, Electrical, Industrial, Mechanical, or other Engineering related field. Experience with data center, networking, or telecom operations. Experience with both Outside Plant (OSP) and Inside Plant (ISP) fiber optic infrastructure, including deep knowledge of Dark Fiber, Network Infrastructure, ISP/OSP Network Architecture, Network Topology, and Field Deployment. Excellent problem solving and communication skills, with the ability to construct, articulate, and defend simple messages or insights from analysis.

You're equally comfortable explaining your team's analyses and recommendations to executives as you are discussing the technical tradeoffs in product development with engineers. Our team is responsible for planning, design, sourcing and delivery of the global network infrastructure that connects every Google application and Google Cloud product to our users and customers globally. With the planned rollout of new AI hub in India, the role is critical to ensure timely, quality and cost effective delivery of scalable network connecting existing and upcoming Data Centers across India and rest of the world.
