An opportunity for a Composite/Hybrid Structure Detailed Designer in Airbus Operations has arisen in Getafe (Madrid)

Responsibilitie s Research & Evaluation

Investigate and assess emerging technologies and design concepts to define the future of aircraft development.

Technical Specifications

Define and author technical specifications and requirements for innovative aerospace systems and components.

Cross-Functional Collaboration

Partner with multidisciplinary R&D and engineering teams to seamlessly integrate cutting-edge technological solutions.

Prototyping & Testing

Drive the creation of prototypes and lead proof-of-concept testing for advanced designs.

Data-Driven Optimization

Analyze complex data sets and test results to continuously refine and optimize designs and processes.

Stakeholder Reporting

Deliver clear technical reports and strategic recommendations to leadership and project stakeholders.

SKILLS

Education: Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Aerospace Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Industrial Design, or a related field.

Proven Experience

Track record in aircraft or aerospace systems design, ideally within an advanced R&D environment.

Software Proficiency

Mastery of industry-standard CAD/CAE tools (e.g., CATIA, 3DX, PLM, PASS, CPD ...).

Problem-Solving Skills

Strong innovative mindset with a demonstrated ability to tackle complex engineering challenges.

Communication

Exceptional oral and written communication skills in both English and Spanish.

Team Dynamic

Proven ability to work autonomously as well as collaboratively within cross-functional teams. WHICH
