Job Purpose

Lead - Quality is responsible for developing and implementing comprehensive quality management strategies to improve operational efficiency, ensure compliance, and exceed industry standards. This role will oversee quality assurance efforts, lead a team, and foster a culture of quality excellence across the organization.

Responsibilities

Experience in Mechanical QA/QC, out of which 3-5 Years MUST be in Data Center / Pharma / Clean Room / Semiconductor projects Experience in handling large-scale Mission Critical projects Technical Knowledge - CORE - HVAC Systems, Chillers, Cooling Towers, CRAH / CRAC Units, AHUs, FCUs, Chilled Water System (CHW), Condenser Water System

Plumbing & Fire Fighting

• Hydrant, Sprinkler, FM200 / NOVEC / Gas Suppression, Leak Detection System

Documentation

• Method Statements, QAP / ITP, Checklists, IMIR, WIR, NCR, CAPA - Standards: ASHRAE, SMACNA, NFPA, IS, ISO 9001:2015 - Testing & Commissioning: Pressure Testing, Air Balancing (TAB), Water Balancing, Commissioning Reports (Cx) Data Center Specific
• Understanding of
• Tier III / Tier IV* requirements
• Knowledge of
• Hot Aisle / Cold Aisle Containment* - BMS / EPMS Integration for Mechanical Systems
• Cleanliness and Protocol for White Space / Server Hall Handover Quality Strategy: Develop and implement quality management strategies to enhance operational efficiency and effectiveness.

Quality Assurance Leadership

Lead quality assurance efforts to ensure compliance with industry standards and exceed customer expectations.

Process Development & Maintenance

Oversee the development and maintenance of quality assurance processes, documentation, and systems to ensure consistency.

Audits & Assessments

Conduct regular quality audits and assessments to identify areas for improvement and implement corrective actions.

Cross-functional Collaboration

Collaborate with cross-functional teams to establish quality benchmarks and drive continuous improvement initiatives.

Regulatory Compliance

Ensure compliance with relevant regulatory requirements and industry best practices.

Root Cause Analysis

Lead root cause analysis for quality-related issues, identifying corrective and preventive actions to resolve recurring problems.

Reporting

Develop and deliver detailed quality reports and performance metrics to senior management, offering insights and recommendations for improvement.

Value Analysis/Value Engineering (VA/VE)

Lead VA/VE initiatives to enhance product value while reducing costs, without compromising quality.

Business Excellence

Drive business excellence initiatives, implementing best practices to optimize quality performance and operational processes.

Brand Positioning

Ensure Adani's brand values are shown in all interactions. Strengthen relationships to boost the organization's brand and trust within the market and company.

Team Development

Build a high-performing team. Set clear KPIs, track progress, and implement strategies for continuous improvement. Promote a respectful and safe workplace, lead collaborative and productive teams, and mentor for growth and success. Tracks and reports on key performance indicators (KPIs) for digital business success.

Qualifications

Educational Qualification

Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Work Experience: 12- 15 years of experience in quality assurance/control, preferably in construction projects.

Certification

Preferred Quality Management Systems, or a related field.
