You'll work across critical mainframe systems and modern technology platforms, using AI enabled tools to accelerate delivery and solve complex problems. This is more than a hands on engineering role. You'll help build capability within a growing Gold Coast engineering hub, mentor fellow engineers and contribute to the evolution of a more connected, full spectrum engineering workforce. What do I need?

• Strong experience with COBOL and/or PLI, supported by knowledge of JCL, CICS, IMS and batch processing
• Proven experience supporting and enhancing applications on z/OS platforms
• Confidence using AI tools and coding assistants as part of everyday software engineering
• Strong troubleshooting skills, including production support, debugging and performance analysis
• Interest in working across modern technologies including Java, APIs and event driven services
