Who will you be working with? You will be part of the Services Operations team, working closely with customers, field service teams, workshop personnel, supply chain, engineering, and commercial stakeholders. In this role, you will act as a key interface between the customer and internal teams, ensuring locomotive overhaul projects are delivered safely, on time, within budget, and to the highest quality standards. You will be responsible for leading and coordinating locomotive overhaul (Loco OH) programs from planning through execution. You will ensure project objectives related to scope, schedule, cost, quality, and customer satisfaction are successfully achieved. The role requires strong collaboration across multiple functions to drive operational excellence, identify process improvements, and support long-term customer success.

Required Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in Engineering Minimum 3 years of experience in service operations, maintenance, project management, or related technical roles. Fluent in English and Kazakh (written and verbal). Strong proficiency in Microsoft Office applications (Excel, Word, Outlook, PowerPoint). Strong organizational, analytical, and problem-solving skills. Effective communication and stakeholder management skills. Must have legal authorization to work in Kazakhstan.

Preferred Qualifications

Experience in maintenance, overhaul, and troubleshooting of equipment. Project management experience in industrial, transportation, or heavy equipment environments. Demonstrated leadership and cross-functional coordination skills. Ability to manage multiple priorities in a dynamic operational environment. What will your typical day look like? Lead and coordinate locomotive overhaul (Loco OH) projects, ensuring compliance with scope, schedule, budget, and quality requirements.

Develop and maintain project plans, schedules, milestones, and performance metrics. Monitor project execution and proactively identify and mitigate risks. Serve as the primary point of contact for customers regarding project status, deliverables, and issue resolution. Coordinate activities among operations, engineering, supply chain, field service, and workshop teams. Track project costs and support financial forecasting, budgeting, and reporting activities.

Ensure compliance with company processes, customer requirements, and safety standards. Drive continuous improvement initiatives related to project execution, maintenance practices, and operational performance. Prepare and present regular project updates to management and customers. Support annual planning activities and contribute to the development of long-term service programs. Facilitate resolution of technical and operational issues to ensure successful project delivery.
