ESSENTIAL DUTIES

AND RESPONSIBILITIES: Responsible for managing Hard Disk Drive (HDD) inventory spread across numerous customer teams which includes loading and unloading drives in customer systems. Responsible for tracking and recording inventory; providing general lab support, packaging, shipping, and receiving. Executes customer testing (including performance benchmarks and electrical tests), updating firmware, and reporting problems as they occur to the engineering team.

Adheres to SIT lab test procedures and communicate written and verbal status.

Qualifications

REQUIRED

The candidate must have a working knowledge of Linux system environments. This system knowledge must include the ability to setup complex computer systems and a basic understanding of system error logs. Must be familiar or willing to learn how to work with test equipment, such as bus analyzers. Adhere to all safety protocols and regulations. Use appropriate personal protective equipment (PPE). Report any safety hazards or incidents immediately.

Strong verbal and written communication skills.

PREFERRED

Experience using pallet jacks or hand trucks. Experience using hand tools or powered screwdrivers.
