You will have: A Level 3 NVQ or equivalent in Heavy Vehicle Maintenance Previous experience working on HGV’s or have you completed an apprenticeship in the HGV industry What you'll do: Our Technicians are responsible carrying out regular MOT service inspections on a wide range of manufacturers’ trucks. Fault finding, carrying out repairs on engines, gearboxes brakes, suspension systems etc. Carry out repairs to a high standard according to Volvo procedures, safely and responsibly Assist in the fault diagnosis process Service Customer Vehicles and complete service sheets.

Road test vehicles when required (if you hold an HGV license) Assist with roadside breakdowns.

• Process all relevant paperwork relating to jobs accurately
• Ensure all vehicle defects are reported
• Keep all workshop facilities, equipment, and tools clean, tidy and well maintained

If you have previously worked as an HGV Technician, HGV Mechanic, Heavy Goods Vehicle Mechanic, or Commercial Vehicle Technician, your skills are highly relevant to this role. We also value transferable expertise from allied industries; candidates with backgrounds as a PSV Technician, PCV Mechanic, Bus and Coach Technician, or a Heavy Plant Mechanic / Plant Technician are strongly encouraged to apply, as full product training on our modern fleet will be provided."
