Job description

Working hours

Full time 37.5 hours per week - Monday to Friday This is a rare opportunity to join one of the most significant transformations in the UK telecoms industry, as two market-leading businesses come together to create the nation's largest mobile network provider. Working within the Drive Convergence function, you'll play a key role in shaping the future commercial strategy of the combined business, helping to define and deliver innovative convergence propositions that drive customer value and growth.

You'll develop business cases for new opportunities, manage the convergence P&L, and provide insight into in-life risks and opportunities that influence commercial performance. Partnering closely with proposition teams, you'll operate at the heart of strategic decision-making, balancing long-term vision with commercial delivery. This role offers the chance to make a tangible impact on a business, culture, and customer experience being built from the ground up, making it a genuinely career-defining opportunity.

Support the development and delivery of the household growth strategy, with ownership across key product areas including Convergence, TV, Content and OneNumber. Take responsibility for commercial performance within your areas, identifying risks and opportunities, enhancing forecasting accuracy, and driving actions that unlock incremental growth. Partner closely with proposition teams to shape and execute commercial strategies that increase household penetration, grow revenue, and maximise customer value.

Lead the development of robust business cases for new initiatives, providing commercial insight across investment appraisal, partner economics, and post-investment performance reviews. Build and manage strong relationships with content, platform, and ecosystem partners, negotiating commercial terms that deliver sustainable value for the business. Drive commercial optimisation by identifying opportunities to improve profitability, reduce revenue leakage, and effectively manage key cost drivers.

Provide clear, data-driven performance insights to senior stakeholders, supporting informed decision-making and ongoing commercial success. Contribute to the continuous improvement of commercial governance, processes, and reporting, ensuring high-quality performance management and forecasting standards across the function. Strong experience within telecoms, media, digital services, or a related consumer-focused industry, with a solid understanding of commercially driven markets.

Demonstrated knowledge of the consumer telecoms landscape, particularly across convergence, content, and connected customer propositions. Proven track record of owning and delivering against commercial or P&L targets, driving growth and performance in a complex business environment. Experience developing business cases and commercial models that support investment decisions, strategic initiatives, and value creation. Highly effective stakeholder manager, with the ability to influence and build credibility across cross-functional teams and senior leadership groups.

Experience managing and developing successful external partnerships, balancing commercial objectives with long-term relationship growth. Strong commercial acumen, with the ability to translate data and market insights into clear actions and recommendations. Comfortable operating in a fast-paced, dynamic environment, able to navigate complexity, manage competing priorities, and deliver results through change.
