Job description

NIGHT DRILLING COMPLETION SUPERVISOR is required by our Client, an Oil and Gas Contractor, to be assigned on a contract basis, located in Paramaribo, Suriname.

STARTING DATE

October / November 2026 DURATION: Min 2-years SCHEDULE: Rotational (4 weeks on/4 weeks off)

PRINCIPAL RESPONSIBILITIES

Technical: Supervise the implementation of drilling programs. Assist to work instructions. Guaranteeing the accomplishment of the operations, in compliance with Company rules, safety and environmental protection referential. Optimizing rig equipment & processes in relation to contractors. Contribute to reinforcing the application of best working practices to: Compliance with HSE rules, standards and targets Preventing major accidents (blow out, spills, etc) Prevent any damage to assets Minimize Non-Productive Time and enhance operational performances In charge of Issuing daily the Daily Drilling Report / Wellview reporting system.

Conduct costs follow-up tracking sheet. Anticipate potential problems and plan (with the DCSSV) to help with alternative strategies. Anticipate needs of equipment and inform the DCSSV. Contribute to the improvement of skills and the know-how. Compile night lessons learnt and enhance drilling performances and advise the DCASV in charge to track it.

Management and interfaces

Ensure the continuity of the operations between the night and the day shift HSE Ensure that Company and Contractor HSE standards are fully respected and known by all. Actively participate in Company and Contractor safety awareness and initiative schemes QUALIFICATIONS / EXPERIENCE Technician or Engineering profile (Bachelor’s degree of Engineering or equivalent), with more than 5 years of experience in operational environment in drilling.
