POSITION SUMMARY

Role as a Bid Specialist in leading the bidding team to produce quality submittals, in response to request for Tender (RFT/RFP/RFQ/RFI/TOR) which is > USD 500k - SEA/ROA/Regional/Global bids.

RESPONSIBILITIES

Bid Pricing Management Compile the overall BOM from CTS/LTS/GS/Project Management & Procurement - ensuring cost accuracy & optimization. To propose the right sell price for submission based on pricing review with Product & Technical team while inline against sales strategies. To present overall submission & getting pricing approval from the management before proceed to releasing the price to sales. The one to translate the approved price to the client price submittal(format).

Repricing of Bids. Pricing changes (Gain/Loss) analysis, cost changes & VCM analysis. Pricing trend & Cost trend analysis. Bid Management Leading & manage all stages of bid process from qualification to submission to the sales team. Developing and maintaining best practice throughout the bid cycle. Manage bid submission - coordinating with all bidding team members to ensure and obtain all submittals. Ensure a full understanding of the solution portfolio, appropriate offerings, within a complete and competitive solution, are proposed to meet the customer requirements.

Aware & highlight the overall risk (Commercial/Technical/GS) when presenting to management for approval.

QUALIFICATIONS

Possess a Bachelor Degree. Minimum 3 years of working experience in related to Pricing, Bid/ Tender Submission – Telecom, Colocation Industry. Skillful in Microsoft Office – comfortable in managing Excel spreadsheet. Good Number Sense – comfortable when dealing in huge project value. Detail-oriented – paying close attention to all of the small particulars when working Bid Pricing. Good Communication & Presentation Skills – no issues in communicating to different levels of colleagues up till management.
