Job description

Financial Control & Reporting

Maintain a full set of books, project accounting records, and ledger balances; prepare timely month-end closing, financial analysis, and monthly variance reports against budgeted capital expenditure (CAPEX) and operating expenses (OPEX).

Project Cost Control

Monitor project expenditure, track contract variations, review subcontractor payment applications, and audit heavy equipment or plant-specific procurement spending.

Cash Flow Management

Handle daily treasury functions, manage project invoicing, and prepare regular cash flow forecasts alongside aging analysis for accounts payable (AP) and accounts receivable (AR).

Compliance & Audit

Ensure all financial transactions strictly align with Hong Kong Financial Reporting Standards (HKFRS) and internal group control policies; coordinate internal and external parties including auditors and tax advisors.

Budgeting & Forecasting

Assist the Finance Manager in preparing annual budgets, quarterly rolling forecasts, and long-term financial modeling for site operations. Support ad hoc tasks or assignments directed by the Finance Manager.

Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree or above in Accounting, Finance, or a related business discipline. Member or final-stage student of a recognized professional accounting body (e.g., HKICPA / ACCA / CPA Australia).
