Maintenance Manager

Job description

Key Responsibilities

• Manage the maintenance function, including in-house maintenance team, contract staff, and contractors, whilst adhering to all relevant legislation and site procedures; train, supervise, and evaluate team performance
• Review plant defects and oversee development of maintenance systems, stores management, H&S procedures, and computerized maintenance management systems to enhance reliability and organizational efficiency
• Plan and manage maintenance outages, including work specification, quality control, and coordination between all parties involved
• Prepare site maintenance budget proposals and manage expenditure within approved budgets
• Liaise with project and operations staff to ensure maintenance efforts align with overall business needs

Qualifications

Required Qualifications

A practical Engineer with a minimum of 5 years experience in a supervisory maintenance role within a process industry, gained in a Chemical, Waste Treatment/Incineration, pulp and paper, petrochemical, Power Generation or Marine environment
