We are seeking a Supervisor, Laboratory to join our team at our Plaquemines LNG Facility located in Point Celeste, LA. Position Overview

The Lab Technician reports to the Laboratory Supervisor and will be responsible for ensuring the smooth operation of the lab, perform Laboratory daily activities in the facility. The Lab Technician performs analytical tests, ensures the analytical information is validated, accurate, and timely for the safe, reliable and efficient plant operations, and understands business objectives so that the facility operates in support of business needs.

The Technician performs duties in a 12-hour daily rotational shift schedule, including night, holidays, and weekends. Overtime coverages may be required and executed upon business needs.

The incumbent will be responsible for conducting the analysis of samples from various process samples for a typical LNG plant, analysis of which shall include various gas and wet chemistry analyses, but not necessarily be limited to: LNG composition (Before & after treatment) Refrigerant composition analysis Refrigerants purity analysis Utility water analysis (produced, waste, and cooling water)

• Analyses of other plant utilities Amine solutions analyses

Environmental Waste Streams

• Analyses Compliance sample analysis Execution of In-house analytical method per guidelines The incumbent shall also be familiar with sampling procedures and associated laboratory equipment to perform analysis of the above components.

Responsibilities

Log in and receive samples collected during routine sampling & ad-hoc sampling.

• Performs assigned laboratory analyses to each sample to determine process parameters per the Sampling
• Schedule providing through high degree of accuracy and efficiency Perform Ad-Hoc sample analyses on routine or non-routine samples per Standard Operating Procedure, and or specific guidelines and generate summary reports for distribution
• Execute analyses and operate lab equipment by following Standard Operating Procedures and guidelines
• Monitor availability of perishable and non-perishable inventory needed for analyses, make notification of shortages through proper chain of command
• Maintain equipment, and laboratory in a safe, clean and orderly condition.

Dispose of waste by proper procedure. Document lab activities regarding hazards appropriately Comply with the laboratory standard methods (ASTM, GPA, UOP, in-house, or equivalent) for sampling and testing of LNG and other hydrocarbon process streams, amine solutions, water treatment, and special samples without deviation from procedure Comply with Laboratory Quality Control protocols to ensure measurement and analyses meet standards Comply with appropriate analytical techniques to help troubleshoot process issues.

• Participate in documenting maintenance logs on each lab equipment
• Ensure laboratory activities are carried out in accordance with company, site, environmental, site-specific safety policies and procedures
• Participate in technical skillset development programs & opportunities, and to improve Standard Operating Procedures operational practices
• Document utility usages, and waste streams generated
• Ensure safe, efficient, and informative shift handover
• Collaborate with other laboratory staff on various lab specific and site activities The skills, duties, and responsibilities mentioned are not comprehensive.

Additional tasks may be assigned and expectation maintained on continuous improvements in skillset. Scope of position may change necessitated by business needs.

Qualifications

Education and Certifications: Degree in Science, Chemistry or equivalent preferred A minimum of one (1) year experience working in a hydrocarbon laboratory (May be substituted with education or relevant LNG experience) Oil and Gas experience is preferred, with preference in LNG applications, however, petrochemical, NGL, cryogenic natural gas processing, or other hydrocarbon processing experience may be acceptable Knowledge of basic laboratory equipment, including Gas Chromatograph, Titration Equipment, ICP-OES, Spectrophotometers, Moisture Meters, Ovens, Exhaust hoods vents, balances etc.
