Family Medicine Physician (MD/DO) 4-Day Work Week (Days Only)| No Weekends Location: Anchorage, AK North Star Behavioral Health is seeking a Family Nurse Practitioner (FNP) or Physician Assistant (PA) to join our inpatient behavioral health team. Why Join Us? 4-day work week with (4) 10-hour shifts each week. Monday-Thursday, Days Only schedule. No weekends. Collaborative multidisciplinary team. Position Highlights Conduct admission H&Ps, follow-up assessments, and medical consults for behavioral health patients. Collaborate with psychiatrists, therapists, and nursing staff. Manage medical needs of inpatient behavioral health patients. Provide patient and family education. Participate in discharge planning and continuity of care. Requirements

Licensure: Alaska Physician Medical license (MD/DO), or the ability to obtain licensure prior to start.

Education

Completion of an accredited medical school with Family Medicine residency training.

Certification

Board‑eligible or board‑certified in Family Medicine (MD/DO).

Experience
