Position Title

Part-time Outpatient/PHP General Psychiatrist Location: Gulfport, MS (Tele-psychiatry or on-site) Gulfport Behavioral Health System is a specialty hospital located on the Mississippi Gulf Coast for more than 33 years. Gulfport Behavioral provides a full range of treatment options, including outpatient therapy, day treatment and inpatient services for children as young as 4 years of age, adolescents, and adults. We are dedicated to helping patients develop the skills necessary to live a life of long-term recovery and health.

Position Overview

Role: Part-time Outpatient/PHP position, 20 hours per week.

Patient Population

ages 18 and older Schedule: Monday-Friday 12 PM - 4 PM CST Caseload: will vary Employment Type: Part-time hourly position Key Responsibilities: Conduct admission evaluations, develop treatment plans, and provide ongoing treatment follow-up for patients. Participate in treatment team meetings. Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to deliver high-quality care. Complete required patient documentation and notes in accordance with facility guidelines.

Compensation and Benefits

Competitive hourly rate Qualifications: Education: Board Certification in General Psychiatry.

Training

Successful completion of an accredited Psychiatry residency.

Licensure

Mississippi medical license and DEA in good standing or eligibility to obtain it.

Experience

Must be comfortable treating child-adult populations.

Leadership

Participation in meetings when requested by CEO.
