Practice Setting

• Established pathology department at a 183-bed acute care facility with state-of-the-art pathology laboratory

Support / Care Team

• Collaborative pathology group with expanding team, laboratory technologists, and support staff

EMR / Technology

• Cerner EMR with advanced clinical and anatomic pathology laboratory equipment

Responsibilities

• Provide comprehensive anatomic and clinical pathology services to a diverse patient population
• Collaborate with the pathology group, clinicians, and laboratory staff to ensure high-quality diagnostic services
• Participate in diagnostic evaluations, reporting, and quality assurance activities
• Document findings and maintain accurate records within the hospital’s EMR system Compensation & Benefits

Qualifications

• Board Certified or Board Eligible in Anatomic Pathology and Clinical Pathology
• Active Texas medical license or eligibility to obtain Texas licensure
• Spanish language skills beneficial but not required
