We are seeking an experienced Java Electronic Trading Developer to join our Principal Cash Equities (CRB) trading team within UBS Global Markets. This hands-on role focuses on designing, building and enhancing high-performance algorithmic trading systems. The successful candidate will bring expert-level core Java development skills, low-latency engineering experience and a strong understanding of automated trading and quantitative analysis.

• develop the next generation of algorithmic trading solutions for the Principal Cash Equities business within UBS Global Markets' electronic trading platform
• design, build and maintain high-performance Java applications across the full software development lifecycle
• develop back-testing frameworks and implement production trading strategies

monitor and optimize the performance, stability and scalability of trading systems

• integrate trading applications with market data platforms, order management systems, quantitative analytics and reference data services
• apply quantitative analysis to enhance systematic quoting, execution, hedging and risk management strategies
• collaborate closely with trading, quantitative research and technology teams to deliver innovative electronic trading solutions
