Job description

About the Role At Uber for Business (U4B), we are transforming how companies move their people and manage business operations. Across Latin America, our ambition is to accelerate B2B adoption by deepening penetration in Brazil and Mexico, expanding into emerging markets, and becoming an essential partner for businesses, from executive transportation to everyday operational needs. As a Strategy & Planning Manager, you will be a strategic thought partner to regional leadership and a hands-on problem solver.

You will help shape business strategy and financial plans, identify growth opportunities, and independently drive high-impact cross-functional workstreams, translating data-driven insights into actionable solutions and measurable business results. What the Candidate Will Do Help shape the multi-year strategy for U4B LATAM, identifying where to grow, compete, and invest across markets, segments, and products. Drive annual strategic and financial planning, forecasting, and resource allocation in partnership with Finance and commercial teams.

Dive into complex business performance data to identify key trends, growth drivers, risks, and opportunities. Develop analytical frameworks to monitor business performance, customer acquisition and retention, commercial productivity, and competitive dynamics. Partner closely with commercial leaders and cross-functional stakeholders to translate regional priorities into market-specific strategies, balancing growth opportunities, operational constraints, and execution capabilities.

Independently lead high-impact, cross-functional workstreams, from structuring ambiguous problems and developing solutions to driving implementation and measurable results. Act as a trusted thought partner to senior leadership, translating complex analyses into compelling narratives, challenging assumptions, and influencing strategic decisions.

Basic Qualifications

Bachelor's degree. 5+ years of experience in management consulting, corporate strategy, strategic finance, business operations, business intelligence, data analytics, or a related field. English proficiency.

Preferred Qualifications

6–10 years of experience in strategy, finance, analytics, consulting, or business operations. Strong business judgment and structured problem-solving skills, with the ability to tackle ambiguous challenges and develop actionable recommendations. Strong data and analytics foundations, with experience working with large datasets, identifying trends, and deriving actionable insights. Strong commercial acumen, with the ability to connect financial and operational insights to sales execution, customer growth, and business outcomes.

Experience in financial modeling, forecasting, business case development, and strategic planning. Advanced technical skills, including proficiency in SQL, experience with Python or R, and AI proficiency. Proven ability to independently lead complex, cross-functional workstreams from problem identification through implementation. A hands-on, results-oriented mindset, with the ability to navigate ambiguity, challenge assumptions, and drive execution without direct authority.

Outstanding communication and presentation skills, with the ability to translate complex analyses into compelling narratives and influence senior leadership. Experience in GTM strategy, commercial planning, or business performance management, ideally across multiple markets. MBA or other advanced degree.
