Job description

Cleaned Document About the role and team The Grocery & Retail team is looking for sharp, resilient individuals to join our Enterprise team, managing some of our most high-stakes strategic partners. In this role, you won’t just be managing accounts; you’ll be navigating the complex intersection of the digital and physical worlds, ensuring operational excellence and revenue growth for partners who rely on Uber to scale their businesses.

This environment is fast-paced and often ambiguous, requiring a mindset that thrives on ownership and high-pressure problem-solving. You will act as the bridge between our merchant partners and Uber’s internal product, marketing, and operations teams to build long-term, mutually beneficial relationships. If you are energized by the challenge of solving messy, real-world problems and want to see the tangible impact of your work on local communities, this is where you’ll grow.

What you’ll do Build and grow long-term partnerships by understanding what matters most to our Grocery & Retail customers, moving beyond transactional sales to deep integration. Navigate internal complexity and shifting priorities across Product, Marketing, and Legal teams to unblock barriers and unlock new value for strategic clients. Use data and analytical modeling to identify trends, provide actionable insights, and track the productivity of initiatives in a high-stakes environment.

Manage complex account lifecycles with urgency and discipline, balancing the need for immediate operational fixes with long-term strategic growth. Adapt your communication and negotiation style to influence a wide range of stakeholders, from C-level executives to engineering and operations leads. Own the success of your partners end-to-end, showing up with grit and resourcefulness to ensure Uber remains their preferred growth platform.

Basic Qualifications

4+ years of professional experience in Partner Management or Account Management. Proven track record of managing enterprise or mid-market accounts with multiple stakeholders. Experience managing complex data sets and hitting measurable OKRs or sales targets.

Preferred Qualifications

Strong systems thinking and the ability to navigate high-ambiguity environments. Bachelor’s degree or equivalent Experience specifically managing clients within the Grocery, Retail, or CPG industries. Proficiency with Salesforce and SQL for data-driven decision making. Exceptional cross-functional leadership skills with the ability to influence without authority. Experience in "0 to 1" product or partnership environments where playbooks are still being written.

Resilience and a "go-get-it" attitude, with a demonstrated ability to turn difficult client feedback into growth opportunities.
