We are offering a $2000 sign-on bonus for all new hires, after they reach 180 days of employment ($1000 at 90 days and $1000 at 180 days). Pay range for the position is $28.05- $40.10 / hr. ( based on the skills and experience ). There is potential to progress quickly within levels based on completed training and demonstrated skills on the job.

POSITION SUMMARY

This position is responsible for troubleshooting, maintaining, and repairing all equipment and company assets while maintaining a safe work environment and adhering to Tyson policies and procedures.

RESPONSIBILITIES & KNOWLEDGE

The Maintenance Generalist will perform duties such as welding, cutting, electrical repair and troubleshooting, removing, replacement of motor shafts, couplings, pumps, augers, water pipes, valves, lines, & systems. Must be able to read & understand assignments Must be able to communicate orally & in writing Basic knowledge of math, able to use various electrical & pneumatic power tools & equipment. May be required to read drawings & schematics of hydraulic & basic electrical systems.

REQUIREMENTS

Must have at least six (6) months work experience within the last 12 months to be considered for this position (can be a combination of employers as long as experience is at least 6 months). Must have a minimum 2 years industrial maintenance, with strong electrical and mechanical troubleshooting background documented in the work history section of the application/resume.

Preferred

Vocational or College Education in Industrial Maintenance. Opportunities for advancement commensurate with performance and willingness to learn both inside and outside of Plant Operations ATTN Prior Tyson Workers: Candidates who have previously worked for Tyson will have a minimum rehire waiting period of 90 days and are limited to 3 times of employment.
