Starting Pay $20.15/hr Blend Mill Operations Maintenance Generalist (MG01)

Position Summary

The Maintenance Generalist (MG01) is an entry-level maintenance position responsible for performing preventative maintenance and assisting in maintaining and repairing equipment and company assets. This role ensures a safe work environment and adheres to Tyson Food’s policies and procedures. This position is cross-trained across all production job duties.

Responsibilities

Assemble and disassemble equipment. Housekeeping responsibilities. Operate and maintain mobile equipment. Follow Lockout/Tagout (LOTO) procedures. Perform preventive maintenance on all equipment. Engage in physical activities such as climbing, standing, bending, sitting, and carrying/pushing/pulling up to 70 lbs multiple times monthly. Work in varying temperature conditions, both hot and cold. Work overtime and weekends as needed.

Follow instructions and communicate effectively. Work at heights.

External Requirements

Up to six months of experience in industrial or manufacturing maintenance; agriculture milling experience preferred. Valid driver’s license. Basic computer skills for training purposes. Ability to work at heights. Ability to obtain and retain PIT Certification All applicants must complete the final task that is separate from the application.
