ABOUT THE JOB
You'll define and maintain our short and long-term network plan, ensuring it reflects seasonal demand patterns, customer requirements, and TUI Group priorities across all regions. Leading the identification of new route opportunities and market entries is key – you'll prioritise where we fly next and how we deploy our aircraft to maximise both customer satisfaction and profitability. As the commercial lead for fleet planning, you'll translate network ambitions into aircraft capacity requirements, working closely with Fleet, Finance, Operations and Strategy teams to ensure our fleet evolves to support growth.
Collaboration is at the heart of this role – you'll work hand-in-hand with B2B Sales, Regional Commercial teams, and Capacity Planning to ensure our network reflects real customer needs and market opportunities. You'll develop structured, insight-driven route proposals including financial modelling, revenue forecasts, and ROI analysis, while maintaining the tools and methodologies that make our route evaluation best-in-class .
Building a high-performing team is essential – you'll lead, inspire and develop network analysts and planners, fostering a culture of excellence, curiosity and commercial rigour.
ABOUT YOU
You bring proven experience in leading airline network strategy, route profitability assessment, and capacity planning within a multi-market or multi-AOC airline environment. Your strong understanding of airline economics, business case modelling, and strategic planning processes means you can navigate the complexity of a highly competitive and regulated industry. Advanced skills in financial analysis are second nature to you – from business case development to scenario modelling, you know how to build compelling arguments for network decisions.
You're comfortable aligning network strategy with fleet planning, understanding how aircraft deployment and future capacity requirements connect to market development needs. Demonstrated ability to incorporate customer needs and B2B feedback into network design shows you understand that great planning starts with listening to the people we serve. You've got a track record of leading high-performing teams in fast-paced, cross-market environments, and you know how to build, coach and develop planning professionals who deliver results.
From a workplace to a place to belong. At TUI we embrace diversity, equity, and inclusion, encouraging everyone to come as you are, because together, our potential is limitless. We are committed to supporting candidates with disabilities and impairments so if you require any support, please do let us know. SECURITY STATEMENT Safety and security are top priorities for us, so all job offers require successful completion of security checks before you can start.
The specific requirements, timelines, and processes vary by country and may include professional references, criminal record checks for countries where you’ve recently lived, and any additional documentation required by local regulations, some of which may involve a cost depending on your location. We’ll guide you through every step of the process. Your official start date will only be confirmed once all required checks have been completed and cleared.
