Position Highlights Specialty

Nocturnist / Hospital Medicine Setting: Full-time, employed position based at St.

Joseph's Hospital, Tucson, AZ Schedule

Shift-based block scheduling — 7 on / 7 off with some schedule flexibility Team Structure: Supported by 1 swing shift physician, 2 APPs during the day, and 1 APP overnight Patient Volume: Average census of 18 patients with 1–2 admissions per shift ICU: Closed ICU with procedure support provided by Intensivists and IV Team Teaching: Optional opportunity to teach internal medicine residents Language: Spanish-speaking skills a plus, but not required

Organization Description Established in 1961, St. Josephs Hospital in Tucson is home to the Carondelet Neurological Institute and the Carondelet Joint Replacement Center. The hospital offers advanced care that includes a Level I Trauma Center, Comprehensive Stroke Center and spacious and comfortable labor and delivery units.
