Job Summary

Anyone traveling more than 60 miles one way to Holy Cross is eligible for a travel stipend of $60 per day.

Position Summary

At the direction of a Registered Occupational Therapist, performs patient treatments as indicated by the treatment plan. Documents treatments given, including frequent and objective measurements. Works with neonatal through geriatric patients with clinical competency. Completes established competencies for the position within designated introductory period.

Responsibilities

Performs selected tests and measurements as directed by therapist; maintains documentation on all treatments; assures appropriate equipment performance prior to each use.

Minimum Requirements

Experience: One year.

Education

Associate's degree in occupational therapy assistant, Active U.S. military service members or veterans with any military service, training or education verified and credited by an accredited OTA program is acceptable Certifications: Certified as an Occupational Therapy Assistant by the American Occupational Therapy Certification Board. Current license in the State of Arizona.
