Why Join Us Children's Hospital of Michigan has been the region's cornerstone of pediatric care since 1886 — a nationally ranked, 228-bed facility and the first and largest children's hospital in the state. Regular collaboration with Neurosurgery, Cardiovascular Surgery, Nephrology, Pulmonary, Hematology/Oncology, Immunology, and Gastroenterology Faculty appointment at CHM, home to one of the largest pediatric residency and subspecialty fellowship programs in the country Level I Pediatric Trauma Center and one of the nation's few ABA-verified Pediatric Burn Centers on site
