Job Summary

Job Shift: Rotate Job Type: Full Time Up to $5,000 SOB for qualified candidates, paid over 24 months. The Staff Pharmacist provides pharmaceutical care services to the patients including, but not limited to oversight, monitoring, preparation, dispensing and proper documentation of patient medication therapy as well as providing drug information, patient information and oversight of information and dispensing systems.

Additionally

ensures compliance with Federal, State, and local laws and regulations. May also advise physicians on medication utilization.

Qualifications

Education Minimum: Graduate of an ACPE accredited school of Pharmacy preferred Experience/Qualifications : Preferred: Hospital pharmacy experience in unit dose and IV admixture Good communication skills and ability to relate effectively to hospital staff, department heads, administration and medical staff Required Certification / Licensure / Registration: Current & valid Florida License as Registered Pharmacist Required: Pharmacy license; BLS within 30 days of hire (ACLS and/or PALS if code attendance required)

Preferred

Board Certification in Pharmacotherapy (BCPS), CGP, etc. #LI-TK1 Organization Description West Boca Medical Center (WBMC) is part of the Palm Beach Health Network and has been serving southern Palm Beach and northern Broward counties for over 37 years. WBMC offers general medical and surgical care, orthopedics, a robotic surgery program, a state-of-the art breast imaging center, womens and childrens services and the only level III NICU in southern Palm Beach County.
