Job Summary

Job Shift: Nights Job Type: Full Time Up to $10,000 SOB for qualified candidates, paid over 24 months. The Registered Nurse using critical thinking skills coordinates and provides safe quality care to patients utilizing the nursing process of assessment, planning, implementation and evaluation. Assists with organizing patient care activities as assigned.

Responsibilities

Assesses physical, psychosocial, educational and growth and developmental needs of the patient. Develops a written plan of care using assessment data. Implements nursing care plan. Evaluates patient's response to interventions. Demonstrates leadership skills Assists in organizing Patient Care Activities Qualifications Education: Graduate of Registered Nurse Program Experience: None License: REGISTERED NURSE Certifications: BLS/CPR (AMERICAN HEART ASSN ), ACLS (AHA) (within 90 days for inexperienced RNs, NIH Stroke Certification (within 60 days of hire or transfer), PALS (within 90 days of hire or transfer) Basic EKG, Critical Care Course & Trauma Course within 6months for inexperienced RNs.

The hospital has been serving Palm Beach County and the Treasure Coast for more than 80 years.SMMC is a Level 1 Trauma Center, a state-designated Pediatric Trauma Referral Center, certified Comprehensive Stoke Center, and has a level III NICU.
