Area Manager/Manager Land Acquisition (Logistics & Connectivity)

Job description

S. No. Key Objective / Overall Job Responsibility

• Execute end-to-end land acquisition processes, including identification, negotiation, compensation, and possession of land.
• Coordinate with Revenue, Forest, Mining, and District Administration officials for statutory clearances and approvals.
• Drive timely acquisition of land and obtain forest diversion approvals to meet project and operational timelines.
• Track key milestones, identify bottlenecks, and implement corrective actions to expedite approvals and land availability.
• Resolve land-related disputes, compensation concerns, and forest clearance issues through effective coordination, negotiation, and communication.
• Ensure compliance with applicable land acquisition, forest, environmental, and government regulations. Educational qualifications (Threshold educational background required to execute the role) Graduate in any discipline with degree in law Relevant experience (Type/ Nature and years of relevant experience required to execute the role) Experience in revenue, land management, land purchase and land acquisition will be given preference Knowledge of Odiya (reading/writing/speaking) is preferred Threshold skills and capabilities required to execute the role Technical:
• Experience of dealing with welfare measures, stakeholder management. Should be having very good knowledge of land related regulations, MMDR Act, FC Act, PESA Act, Forest Rights Act, etc.
