Role Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Java Developer with strong expertise in Java, Spring Boot, Microservices, REST APIs, and enterprise application development. The candidate will be responsible for designing, developing, enhancing, and supporting scalable applications across the BFSI domain. The ideal candidate should possess strong hands-on development experience, excellent problem-solving skills, and the ability to work effectively in Agile delivery teams.

The role requires close collaboration with architects, business analysts, QA teams, and DevOps engineers to deliver secure and high-performing enterprise solutions.

Key Responsibilities

Application Development Design, develop, test, and deploy enterprise-grade Java applications. Develop scalable and maintainable applications using Java and Spring Boot. Build RESTful APIs and Microservices-based solutions. Translate business requirements into technical solutions. Participate in technical design discussions and architecture reviews. Software Engineering Write clean, reusable, and efficient code. Follow coding standards and development best practices.

Conduct peer code reviews and unit testing. Troubleshoot production issues and perform root cause analysis. Ensure application performance, security, and scalability. Microservices & API Development Develop and consume REST APIs. Design secure API integrations. Implement service-to-service communication patterns. Develop event-driven architectures where applicable. Database Development Design and optimize database schemas. Develop SQL queries, stored procedures, views, and functions.

Perform query tuning and performance optimization. Work with relational and NoSQL databases. DevOps & Cloud Participate in CI/CD implementation. Support application deployment and release management. Colla borate with DevOps teams for automation and monitoring. Work on containerized deployments. Agile Delivery Participate in Sprint Planning, Daily Standups, Sprint Reviews, and Retrospectives. Provide task estimates. Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives.
