Technical Skills

Application & Service Monitoring (grain of salt)

• REST API monitoring (availability, latency, error rates)
• Web application and UI health monitoring
• Microservices and service to service dependency awareness
• Certificate, endpoint, and authentication health checks Platform & Service Understanding (grain of salt)
• Understanding of event driven and API based architectures
• Familiarity with document ingestion and processing flows
• Awareness of upstream/downstream service dependencies
• Environment awareness (Prod vs non Prod behavior) ________________________________________ Monitoring & Tooling Skills
• Synthetic and real user monitoring concepts
• Log aggregation and application error diagnostics
• Alerting based on user experience, not just infrastructure
• Integration with incident and on call escalation tools ________________________________________ Operational & Process Skills
• Rapid triage of customer visible incidents
• Verification of service recovery after restart or rollback
• Coordinated escalation to application and platform teams

• Monitoring for abnormal traffic or error spikes
• Understanding of data sensitivity and access restrictions
