Java Developer

Job description

We are seeking an experienced Java Developer with strong expertise in Java 17+, Spring Boot, and Microservices Architecture to design, develop, and maintain scalable, secure, and high-performance applications. The ideal candidate should have hands-on experience with modern Java frameworks, cloud technologies, caching solutions, and CI/CD practices.

Key Responsibilities

Design, develop, and maintain enterprise-grade applications using Java 17+, Spring Framework, and Spring Boot. Build and consume RESTful APIs and develop scalable microservices-based solutions. Implement secure authentication and authorization using OAuth 2.0 and JWT. Develop data access layers using Spring Data JPA and optimize database interactions. Implement caching mechanisms using Redis or Ehcache to improve application performance.

Write clean, maintainable, and testable code, supported by JUnit and integration testing frameworks. Deploy, monitor, and manage applications on AWS using services such as DynamoDB, IAM, ECS, CloudFormation, and CloudWatch. Collaborate with cross-functional teams, participate in code reviews, and follow development best practices. Support CI/CD pipelines and deployment automation using GitHub Actions. Troubleshoot, debug, and optimize application performance.

Required Skills

Strong experience in Java 17+ with a solid understanding of OOP concepts, Collections Framework, and performance optimization. Expertise in Spring Framework ( Core, MVC, Security ) and Spring Boot. Hands-on experience with Spring Data JPA, transaction management, and complex queries. Experience in designing and developing RESTful APIs and Microservices. Knowledge of OAuth 2.0, JWT, and application security best practices.

Experience with Redis or Ehcache. Proficiency in Maven, JUnit, and testing methodologies. Hands-on experience with AWS services including DynamoDB, IAM, ECS, CloudFormation, and CloudWatch. Experience with Git-based version control systems. Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines and GitHub Actions. Experience using Postman or Bruno for API testing. Good-to-Have Skills Spring Batch AWS Lambda AWS S3 Integration Honeycomb Splunk GitHub, Bitbucket, or SVN
