DevOps & Site Reliability Lead (SAP)

Job description

Must Have Technical/Functional Skills We are seeking an experienced SAP Site reliability engineer with over 8+ years of in SRE, DevOps, or SAP Basis/ Technical roles experience who can own, operate, and scale mission-critical integrations while applying SRE principles. The role requires deep technical expertise, operational excellence, and the ability to ensure high availability, performance, and reliability of integration platforms.

Roles & Responsibilities

Key Responsibilities

Operational Excellence: Maintain high system availability and performance, troubleshooting production issues, and Managing Incident and Change Management (RCA).

Automation & Engineering

Reduce "toil" by writing scripts (Python, Go, Bash) and developing tools for monitoring, testing, and automating system refreshes and patching.

Cloud Infrastructure (BTP)

Lead administration of SAP BTP (Business Technology Platform), including Cloud Foundry, Kubernetes (CKA/CKAD), and Edge Integration Cell.

Security Compliance

• Coordinate security validation, Hacker Simulations, and ensure secure deliveries according to SAP standards.

Team Leadership

• Lead support specialists, define SLIs/SLOs, and collaborate with development teams to implement improvements.
