Technical Service Owner

Job description

Must Have Technical/Functional Skills Technical Service Owner, with ability coordinate across customer stakeholders and guide project team, and with ability to provide hands on expertise for coding and debugging tasks.

Technical Skills

.Net Core, AS400 / API, REST API, Salesforce REST API and platform event integration, OAuth 2.0 / JWT authentication and API key management / RBAC, OpenAPI / Swagger contract documentation, JSON, XML, IBM MQ, API Gateway, ETL and data transformation from DB2 for i to JSON Roles & Responsibilities

• Own end-to-end engineering design and implementation for the service
• Lead and manage the delivery team, including day-to-day coordination and execution
• Drive Scrum ceremonies and ensure strong delivery discipline
• Partner closely with Product, Architecture, and Engineering stakeholders
• Combination of Technical Project Manager and Product Owner, who can carry out given responsibilities, and also code and troubleshoot, as and when required.

Core API Skills

• AS400 / API Skills Required
• .Net Core, REST API design — endpoints, versioning, status codes
• Salesforce REST API and platform event integration
• OAuth 2.0 / JWT authentication and API key management / RBAC
• OpenAPI / Swagger contract documentation
• JSON and XML payload handling and schema mapping

Architecture & Messaging

• Service-oriented / microservices communication
• IBM MQ message bridging between AS400 and modern services
• AS400 REST exposure via IBM Integrated Web Services (IWS)
• Insurance carrier API integrations (quote, bind, rate)
• API Gateway concepts — rate limiting, throttling, routing
• ETL and data transformation from DB2 for i to JSON Testing & Quality
• Functional API test design and execution
• Consumer-driven contract testing
• API performance and load testing
• API mocking and stubbing for AS400 simulation Generic Managerial Skills, If any
