Automation Engineer

Job description

Automation Engineer (Python & Ansible) JD- Design, develop, and maintain Ansible playbooks, roles, and inventories for infrastructure and application automation. Write and enhance Python scripts for automation logic, validations, or custom Ansible modules. Integrate automation with orchestration and scheduling tools such as Rundeck, Ansible Tower/AWX, or Jenkins . Implement and manage Git-based workflows (GitLab/GitHub), including version control, branching strategies, and CI/CD integration.

Develop and maintain YAML configurations and Jinja2 templates for scalable and reusable automation. Troubleshoot automation failures, identify root causes, and optimize execution reliability and performance. Collaborate with DevOps, Platform, and Infrastructure teams to promote automation best practices. Ensure automation solutions adhere to security, compliance, and operational standards. </table
