Application Development
Build and maintain batch programs, interactive screens, APIs, and service programs.
Requirement Analysis & Design
Collaborate with business analysts and telecom domain experts to understand requirements and convert functional requirements into technical specifications.
System Maintenance & Support
Debug and troubleshoot production issues, perform root cause analysis, and implement permanent solutions.
Database & Performance Optimization
Work extensively with DB2/400 queries, indexing, performance tuning, and optimize end-to-end batch processes and program performance.
Collaboration & Documentation
Coordinate with QA, support teams, and cross-functional telecom teams, prepare technical documents, test scenarios, and deployment artifacts. The ideal candidate should have hands-on experience in RPG programming, CL, DB2/400, and application enhancements within enterprise environments.
