Job Summary

We have an immediate need for a Hardware Design Engineer to join our talented and bright design team. The candidate will play a key role in the development process of in-house server motherboards, by working collaboratively with cross-functional engineering team as well as outside partners to ensure the robust design of the boards.

The candidate must be self-motivated and possess a strong will to do great things, with a result-driven mindset to develop the most competitive and endurance board products.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

As a Sr. hardware design engineer who complete assigned project until product end of life, including creates schematics, check layout, component survey, specification and datasheet study, motherboard and system bring up, bug fix, customer issues analyze, even support colleague's projects.

• Designing high speed PCB circuit of Intel x86 server.
• Performing all the circuit design by using OrCAD tool.
• Knowing the layout tool Allegro and can handle the tool.
• Need to validation of the server.
• Need to debug the circuit with digital scope. 5. Need to co-work with validation/ BIOS/ firmware team to solve the issues
• Co-work with validation engineer to solve the issues
• Ensure product conforms to engineering specifications, and regulatory and customer performance expectations.
• Transfer products to manufacturing with clear documentation and help C.M. and technical support to solve problems.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

Qualifications

BSEE or MSEE; at least 4 years working experience on x86 PC/ server hardware design, debugging, troubleshooting, and testing. Strong communication, written, oral, organizational and interpersonal skills. Self-motivated team player with ability to work in a fast-paced environment. Experienced in Linux OS shell and testing environment is a plus. Mandarin speaking is a plus due to global R/D sites.
