28837 Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

• Develop and implement a facility management program including preventative maintenance, regular facilities inspections and life-cycle requirements
• Designing and planning facilities layout.
• Coordinate intra-office moves, allocate and manage facility space for maximum efficiency
• Supervise maintenance and repair of facilities and equipment
• Oversee facility refurbishment and renovations
• Implement best practice processes to increase efficiency
• Obtain quotes and tenders from vendors and suppliers
• Calculate and compare costs for goods and services to maximize cost-effectiveness
• Plan and monitor appropriate facility management staffing levels
• Ensure efficient utilization of facility maintenance staff
• Performance manage, develop and train staff
• Prepare and track facility budget then monitor expenses and payments
• Generate and present regular reports and reviews of facility-related budgets, finances, contracts, expenditure and purchases
• Develop and implement cost reduction initiatives
• Advise on and monitor energy efficiency
• Provide prompt response to requests and issues from facility occupants
• Overseeing and directing all construction projects, including review the project in-depth to schedule deliverables and estimate costs
• Overseeing all onsite and offsite constructions to monitor compliance with building and safety regulations Qualifications:
• Electrical Engineering preferred
• Excellent English listening, speaking, reading and writing skills will be given priority
• Bachelors degree in Facilities Management, Facilities Engineering or related qualification such as project management, business management or construction management\working knowledge of principles and practices of project management
• Knowledge of principles and practices of business administration, electrical and mechanical systems, procurement and contracts
• Experience in construction, facility maintenance, property and utilities management and all facets of facility operation
• Supervisory, financial, budgeting experience and emergency preparedness
• Solid computer and systems knowledge sound knowledge of health, safety and environmental regulations
