Position Purpose
The Senior Credit Risk Analyst will be a key member of the StoneX Credit Risk Team. The StoneX Credit Risk Team is responsible for the initial and ongoing underwriting of customers across StoneX’s multiple business lines as well as proactively monitoring and mitigating credit risks across the portfolio – with a focus on counterparty-level risk as well as broader industry and portfolio-wide risks. Anticipate and assess the impact of commodity price and market volatility on customer exposures, escalating emerging risks as appropriate. Monitor and manage customer exposures to ensure compliance with established limits, including heightened monitoring and reporting on watch-list and workout accounts. Partner with Front Office, members of the Risk Team, and other internal groups (e.g., Legal, Operations, and AML/Compliance) to support business development and growth, while mitigating credit risk.
Review and provide input on credit terms within legal agreements such as Guarantees, ISDAs, Netting Agreements, and Standby Letters of Credit. Contribute to Credit policy/process improvements and support the development and testing of credit systems, reports, and processes. Serve as a technical resource/informal mentor for Credit Analysts.
