Available shifts

06:00-14:00 (AM) 14:00-22:00 (PM) 22:00- 06:00 (Nights) Working Pattern 12 weeks of full-time training on Monday-Friday at 8:00-16:00. Then, moving to shift What is involved Ensuring the effective preparation of sterile consumables (dressings, linen, instruments, and equipment) by the process of decontamination, inspection assembly and packing within predefined quality standards. Rigorously checking, washing, laying up and packing sets of theatre instruments to meet contract specifications within predefined quality standards.

Safely operating and monitoring machines and equipment (washer/disinfectors, ultrasonic and sterilisers) effectively. Ensuring that repairs and missing instruments or equipment are recorded and logged on the Tracking and Traceability computer system (SynergyTrak). Ensuring that repaired instruments or equipment are returned to stock or the appropriate coded sets or the Trust’s appointed person. What's in it for you An annual salary of £25,272 plus a 5% performance bonus, and generous shift allowances if you work overtime/unsociable hours!

Required Experience

Educated to a good general standard with demonstrable verbal and numerical abilities. Basic end user IT skills to operate track and traceability IT system.
