The Long Products Division, Steel of West Virginia is expanding and adding positions for Manual Machinists.

Probationary period of 1,050 hours Pay Range: $60,000 - $120,000 We pay a weekly PRODUCTION INCENTIVE BONUS, Profit Sharing Bonus (twice a year - cash payment) and EXCELLENT HEALTH/DENTAL/VISION and 401(k)!!! Single - $90.00/month and Family - $200.00/month Responsibilities Operate all equipment associated with the machine shop. This would include but not limited to the following equipment; Conventional lathes and mills, drills, broaching, sharpening, surface grinding and other associated equipment.

Experienced in doing own set-ups Must be able to make complex parts from blueprints. Proficient in using micrometers and precision measuring equipment. Familiar with machine fits concerning bearings, ways, clearances, and interference fits. Familiar with thread types and fits and the cutting of those threads. Keep work space and area clean of all machining chips, garbage, oil and grease. Prioritize safety with a focus on using TCOS approaches.

Read blueprints and ability to redraw and dimension sketches. Non-routine hours during nights and weekends may occur, including emergency call-ins. Other duties as required.

Qualifications
